By purchasing our colour-matched paint, you acknowledge and accept that an exact match cannot be guaranteed.

Variations may occur due to factors including the age and condition of your vehicle’s existing paintwork, previous repairs or resprays, application technique and finish, and manufacturer colour variations.

Vehicle paint can differ between production runs, manufacturing plants, and over time, meaning the supplied paint may not exactly match your vehicle.

By proceeding with your purchase, you accept these risks and agree that we shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or dissatisfaction arising from colour variation or mismatch.

Returns & Refunds

All colour-matched touch-up paint, aerosols and tinned paint are mixed to order and are therefore excluded from our standard returns policy. Returns will only be accepted if the product is damaged on arrival.

Ideal for repairing damage which is larger than a stone chip or small scratch.

Each aerosol is mixed to order using your vehicle’s paint code to provide the best possible colour match, delivering improved coverage and application for larger repairs.

For deep scratches, chips or scuffs where bare metal or plastic is visible, we recommend applying our High Build Etch Primer first. If rust is present, use Rust Convertor before applying paint/primer.

To protect and seal the finish, a suitable lacquer must be applied after the paint. We recommend NOVOL SPECTRAL Spray Clearcoat, or ProXL UltraClear.

How to use our Aerosols

Preparation

Step 1: Prepare the damaged area

For deep scratches, chips or scuffs where bare metal or plastic is visible, we recommend applying our High Build Etch Primer first. If rust is present, use Rust Convertor before applying paint/primer.

Use Panel Wipe Degreaser to clean the area, and then use a sticky tack rag to remove any left over dust or particles. Ensure the area is clean and dry before continuing.

Mixing

Step 2: Mix & Colour Check

Shake the aerosol thoroughly for 2–3 minutes before use to ensure the paint is properly mixed.

Before applying the paint to your vehicle, we recommend testing the colour on a piece of white card or a discreet area of your vehicle's bodywork to check the colour match, and determine how many coats are needed.

Applying too few coats will result in a lighter finish, while too many coats will make the colour appear darker.

Application

Step 3: Apply the paint

Apply the paint in smooth, even cross coats from approximately 250mm away from the bodywork. Allow the paint to dry for 15 minutes before applying a second coat (if required), then leave for 4 hours before applying clear lacquer.

After use, turn the aerosol upside down and spray briefly to clear the nozzle, allowing it to be reused later.

Please note: Cold or damp weather will affect the finish, drying time, and overall application of aerosol paint.
